"Feisty, stubborn, sarcastic, outspoken, very, very blunt - Hmm, are these my good points or bad? Who knows! Who cares! It's still gonna be me!"
I consider myself to be well educated and intelligent. Although I grew up in Austria I have a good and very 'British' sense of humour - usually directed at myself!
I enjoy various sports, such as running, cycling, kayaking and swimming. Until recently I was a keen Marathon runner and have run several Marathons, including the New York, the Dublin and the London (7 times!). I still run but no longer marathon distances. Having grown up in Austria, I also love mountain climbing, my 2 greatest passions though are travelling and photography.
I enjoy the Arts - I studied music at University and play the piano and love going to concerts and the theatre.
I am very independent and enjoy my own company but would love to meet that 'special someone' with whom I can share some of my interests and to whom I am special.

I'd love to meet someone who doesn't take himself too seriously and who has a good sense of humour. If this gentleman were also to be interested in more than just football, now that would really be fantastic!
Other than that? The obvious I suppose, such as being kind & thoughtful. Oh yes, a bit of romance would be a real bonus!
I'm not really into 'couch-potatoes' and prefer a man to be active, both in mind and body.
I would only ever consider being in a relationship where I can be myself and don't have to pretend to be something I am not. My partner has to value me for who I am and not for who he thinks I am or for who he would like me to be.
